Kirstie Alley, former television beauty on the show “Cheers”, has launched her new television show on A&E entitled, “Kirstie Alley’s Big Life”. Since Kirstie’s amazing transformation into Jabba the Hutt she has found that acting job offers have dried up. In a ploy to show the country that she is still alive, though barely, and that she is still a relevant person in Hollywood and deserves another chance, she has launched her “reality” show. The problem is that it is a scripted “reality” show …. and Ms Alley isn’t exactly winning an Emmy for her level of acting prowess on said show.
Way to go Kirstie! Not only are you the size of the Hollywood sign in a town that thinks that a size 4 is unheard of, but you’re also reminding everyone that you can’t act …
… side note: Kirstie Alley made her movie debut in the film “Star Trek 2″, she played a Vulcan. She is now fit to return to Star Trek as a planet!

The TLC network will air Sarah Palin’s eight-part series about her home state of Alaska, entitled, “Sarah Palin’s Alaska”. I can’t wait to see her loafing on a couch, shotgun in hand, pontificating abortion while swilling her wine coolers!

Singer/actress Cher has been roped in along with Christina Aguilera to star in a musical film named Burlesque.
According to Variety, Aguilera, 28, will play a small-town girl from Iowa who moves to L.A. and lands work at a neo-burlesque club run by Cher.
Screen Gems president Clint Culpepper said he has been lobbying Cher for years to return to films.
“She brings a soulfulness and gravitas to this character that will ground the story,” People magazine quoted Culpepper as saying.
“The only person who was more excited than I am is Christina,” he added. (ANI)

Singer Celine Dion is pregnant with her second child, it has been revealed. The Canadian singer, 41, and her husband René Angelil, 67, are already parents to son René-Charles, eight.
René has three other children from his previous marriages.
“We can confirm she is pregnant,” her spokesperson told US Magazine yesterday, adding that the singer and her husband are “very happy”. The My Heart Will Go On singer has never made a secret of her desire to extend her family, and was always planning to get pregnant following her run of shows in Las Vegas.
But René’s battle with cancer cast doubt over whether the couple would have more children of their own. She said, “We’ll give it a try after my tour. Hopefully we will be parents again. If not, that’s fine. We have our miracle baby.”
Celine became pregnant with René-Charles after having IVF treatment following six years of attempting to conceive. When asked last December about her plans to have another child, she confirmed she and her husband had ‘a frozen embryo’ waiting.

Web’s Worst Celebrity Impersonators -
America loves the familiar face of a celebrity. But what if you aren’t famous? Then what? Well, the next best thing would be to look like a beloved, familiar face of a star. It’s pure genetics with more than half the talent! Unfortunately, some of these characters are either sorely misguided or improperly assigned to their jobs. So it’s time to look into some of the worst celebrity impersonators on the Web and wonder, Do they actually make a living off this?
Larry King

Larry King? Seriously? This guy should try a more appropriate gig, like impersonating Rick Moranis in “Ghostbusters.”
Donald Trump

All Trump needs to tell this impersonator is, “You’re fired!”
More shockingly horrendous celebrity impostors after the jump.
Howie Mandel

OK, this Howie Mandel impersonator has the bald head down. Check. He’s got the suit. Check. But he looks much more like Lex Luthor.
Judge Judy

Hey, Judge Judy impersonator, “Don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining!”
Bill Gates

Hey look! It’s some guy who looks like he does Bill Gates’ taxes. (Photo courtesy of classique-productions.com)
Dr. Phil

Dr. Phil, who’s this guy wearing a bald wig and trying to pass himself off as you?
Alan Alda

This guy’s not so bad, but when you specify you want an Alan Alda make sure it’s Alan Alda circa 1975 and not old Alan Alda. (Photo courtesy of celebrityimpersonators.com)
Hillary Clinton

The real Hillary Clinton looks pissed off that this impersonator would even try to pass herself off as the genuine article. (Photo courtesy of celebrityimpersonators.com)
Norm from “Cheers”

First of all, is there a high demand for a Norm impersonator? What do you do with a Norm impersonator once you hire him? Do you just let him sit at your bar and drink all your beer? (Photo courtesy of classique-productions.com)
Regis Philbin

Well, they both hold money. They both wear suits. But the similarities end there.
